Karneval First Impression
Episodes Watched: 1,2 & 3, Subber used: [Anime-Koi]
When I first saw the blurb/summary of this anime it thought
it would be a weird mystery shoujo anime, however I was definitely wrong. In
the first couple of minutes the anime seemed like an action horror and I swear
THAT SHIT FREAKS ME THE HECK OUT!!! I MEAN I WAS SCARED SHITLESS. Moving on I
guess it turned into a magical girl setting with like manly action in it but
how I would describe the genre of this anime is debatable. The story for this
anime is really unique and I think that it takes a good amount of turns and
develops well, but mysteriously. There are a lot of un answered questions
straight from episode 1 to even 3. Never the less its nice. I think that the
characters support each other well, for EG. Nai and Gareki they make a couple
pair and he is like the protector and stuff, that kind of relationship is nice
in an anime. The action in this anime can be normal humans shooting and stuff,
crazy monster scary fucked up shit and then there is the magical girl type
fighting.
The art really look kinda shoujo when you see the main
characters, but its more of a normal common shoujo art, the kind of art that
when it becomes an anime there are probably a bunch of girls going nuts. This
is even when the art is not meant to be shoujo. The guys look either MEGA CUTE
(no homo) or MEGA COOL GUY (still no homo). I actually really like that kind of
feel in a male character in some instances, cute innocent helpless guys can be
cute and the tough guys can be cool. Then there are those really sketchy
character designs for EG. The guys in suits look like normal male, 1 more
thing…. WHATS WITH THE SCARY ASSS MONSTER CHARACTERS!!! Then the MOE MOE MOE
CUTE KAWAII ANIMAL GUYS AND SHIZZZ. GAWSH.
All in all I really do recommend this anime, pls just give
it a chance even if ur not into the guys and stuff but cmon the scary action?
And the interesting plot, the action? Well anyway I still recommend.
Personal Note: LIKE I SAID THIS SCARES ME A LOT FOR SOME
REASON, YOU KNOW WHAT, NO NOT FOR SOME REASON FOR A GOOD REASON, THEY LOOK MAS
SCARY. SO MANY MYSTERIES UP IN DIS SHIZZZ.
